At Home With A Sick Kid!

Thanks to the generosity of another little tike, John ran a fever of 102° for three days. The final two days had a stir crazy, highly infectious, skin rash boy climbing the walls. We don't usually don't let TV pacify him, but Katy was actually shaking sitting beside me this morning and TV did the trick for the last couple of days.

After a short breakfast, John wanted to watch a video.	He enjoys sitting in his chair while watching Veggie Tales.	John leans over the rail to point to a different video.	He is taking us by the finger to get things now.
One unsuccessful trip to the mailbox later, he crashes and gives dad a brief break.	Nap time over. Food time commences.	Coco the gorilla says, "Me want more food ... now!"	We made it this time!
On the way back from the mail, the first good rain in months soaked daddy and son.	Stir crazy and wanting mommy home, daddy found a quiet corner to wait out a batch of the fussies.	He drug out his old scooter in an 11th hour attempt at stalling bedtime.	Coco is learning to stack furniture in order to reach things now.
He will show you his belly button, and find yours if you let him.	Guess what he's doing yet again?	"Now what was Jenny's number? 867-5309?"
