A
collection of new and old toys fill Mancub's toy shelf. I'm told that
toy shelves stay neat and tidy as small children grow up. (HA!)
Notice
that the books are on the bottom shelf. He'll probably want to get to
the books first, before he learns to play with noisy toys. His first
baby album (not counting his online photo album) is on the bottom shelf
as well. It was handmade by my student Joy and her mom.
To
the left of the toy shelf is Mancub's closet. It holds a large assortment
of diapers at the present time in anticipation of the waterworks to
come. Many generous gifts of clothing hang in the closet or rest in
the dresser under the window.
The
changing table, a converted sewing table, waits patiently between the
crib and the closet. The diaper shoot has yet to be drilled through
the exterior house wall. So for now, the disposal system rests under
the changing table.
